2019 Midwest IP Institute - MIPLA

Fish is proud to sponsor the Midwest IP Institute where IP experts from around the United States will join local experts to share real-world advice and practice tips. Director of the USPTO Andrei Iancu will be the keynote speaker. Fish principal John Dragseth will discuss “2019’s Top Patent Decisions – What They Mean for Strategy and Tactics.” John will also provide suggestions on how best to take advantage of those rulings. Fish principals Betsy Flanagan, Phillip Goter, and Deanna Reichel will provide an overview of the current state of Section 101 law, including its impact on computers, software, medical diagnostics, and life sciences. The program will provide 12 CLE credits, including elimination of bias and ethics credits.
