Fish Sponsors Center for Reproductive Rights' 25th Anniversary Celebration

Fish is proud to partner with the Center for Reproductive Rights’ at their 25^th anniversary celebration to realize every woman’s rights to reproductive health autonomy.

The annual event will recognize exemplary leaders and voices in the fight for women’s reproductive rights and human dignity, as well as celebrate the organization’s 25 years of fundamentally transforming the landscape of reproductive health worldwide.

The Center for Reproductive Rights uses law to advance reproductive freedom as a fundamental human right that all governments are legally obligated to protect, respect and fulfill.

Fish has worked with the organization as pro bono co-counsel on several Amicus Briefs, including one in support ofWhole Woman’s Health v. Cole, in which our brief was in opposition to two provisions of Texas’ abortion clinic shutdown law, HB2. The Supreme Court struck down HB2 in Jun of 2016, ruling that it imposed an “undue burden” on women seeking abortion.
