Fish's 2021 1L Diversity Fellowship Program Application Now Live
Fish & Richardson is pleased to announce its 1L Diversity Fellowship Program for 2021. The program, which offers fellowships to diverse first-year law students, is a key component of our ongoing firm initiative to recruit, retain, and advance attorneys who will contribute to the diversity of our practice and of the legal profession.
Our 1L Diversity Fellowship Program is comprised of four components: a paid summer associate position in one of Fish & Richardson's domestic offices; mentoring by members of the firm; participation in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity 1L Scholars Program; and up to a $30,000 award.
Eligibility
Candidates must be in good standing as a first-year law student at an ABA accredited law school; demonstrate a record of academic and professional achievement; contribute meaningfully to diversity and inclusion through their involvements in law school or other community efforts and initiatives; may include being a member of a racial/ethnic group that has been historically underrepresented in the legal profession, or identifying as a person with disabilities, openly LGBTQ, and/or a military veteran; and have a STEM background and sincere interest in intellectual property law at Fish & Richardson

Please apply to the Diversity Fellowship only once, clicking the office link for your top location choice. The priority deadline has been extended to January 4. Applications received after this date will be reviewed on a rolling basis and may not be considered if the program is already full.
