Dr. Crystal Culhane Named one of San Diego's 40 Under 40

Fish & Richardson is pleased to announce that Dr. Crystal Culhane, an attorney in the firm's Southern California office based in San Diego, has been named one of San Diego's Top 40 Under 40 by The Daily Transcript. Culhane was honored for her legal practice that offers an interdisciplinary approach to clients in the chemistry, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, nanotechnology and medical device industries. Her extensive community service was also noted.

The Daily Transcript's Top 40 Under 40 annually features the best of San Diego's young professionals.

Culhane predominately works with drug development companies. With a doctorate in chemistry, Culhane combines her technical background and understanding with her legal experience, which leads to strategies that best fit her clients' needs and goals.

She is actively involved with Athena San Diego, a professional organization focused on women in STEM fields. Culhane has combined her love of running and mentoring children as a volunteer coach with Girls on the Run, a program that motivates 8- to 13-year-old girls to be happy, healthy, strong and confident using a goal-based curriculum that integrates running. She also tutors through City Heights Runners, a running club for primarily refugee and immigrant high school students who speak English as a second language. Additionally, Culhane is a mentor at San Diego's Crawford High School’s Academy of Law program.
