Fish Partners With ACLU of Louisiana in New Racial Justice Project

In the wake of the police killing of George Floyd and other Black Americans, Fish is proud to partner with the ACLU of Louisiana on their groundbreaking new racial justice project – "Justice Lab: Putting Racist Policing on Trial." Through the project, Fish attorneys will assist the ACLU in handling civil complaints against individual law enforcement officers alleged to have engaged in racist policing tactics. The project hopes to create precedent that can be used in other states to fight racist policing.

"Justice Lab is an innovative and extraordinary effort to help hold police accountable and to help stop racially-discriminatory policing. Fish is proud to be among the leading law firms and legal clinics that are joining the ACLU Louisiana in this intensive litigation campaign to save Black lives and challenge racist policing from the ground up."
