Fish & Richardson Firm Members Named 2023 Up & Coming Attorney and Unsung Legal Heroes
Minnesota Lawyer has named Fish & Richardson Associate Sangki Park a 2023 "Up & Coming Attorney,” an award honoring young attorneys who have distinguished themselves through professional achievements and community leadership. Additionally, Lee Childers and Alexis Rhea have been named 2023 "Unsung Legal Heroes," a recognition of the most talented and dedicated legal support professionals in Minnesota.
Sangki Park advises companies of all sizes, from startups to multinational companies, on building and managing defensive and offensive intellectual property portfolios and navigating through complex commercial, technical, and legal issues. He provides comprehensive counsel on litigations before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, the International Trade Commission, and District Courts, in addition to prosecuting patents before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is noted for his global perspective and dedication to forging strong client relationships, particularly with Fish’s clients in Korea, and for his investment in pro bono work and mentorship of younger attorneys.
Lee Childers serves as office services supervisor for Fish’s Minneapolis and Dallas offices. In carrying out his wide-ranging responsibilities, Lee provides efficient and timely service covering countless behind-the-scenes details essential to the operations of the two offices and their 500+ employees. He is also admired for the above-and-beyond support and mentorship he provides to his staff, whose career growth and development he intentionally encourages. During Lee’s eight years as supervisor, 30 of his former staff members have been promoted to various positions throughout the firm, from accounting and billing to risk management, professional development, and patent prosecution support.
Alexis Rhea, trademark paralegal team lead, supports Fish’s attorneys in all aspects of trademark, copyright, and domain name matters, as well as Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and social media and trademark enforcement matters. Invariably calm under pressure and consistent in delivering high-quality work, Alexis is a go-to person for the most complicated tasks. Her colleagues commend her exemplary work ethic, natural leadership skills in training and mentoring team members, and invaluable contributions to the firm.
Award recipients will be honored at Minnesota Lawyer’s annual awards luncheon on September 22, 2023.
