Fish & Richardson Grows Technical Team with Four New Technology Specialists in Second Half of 2024
Fish & Richardson welcomes four technology specialists to the firm in the second half of 2024.
Bella Chong supports patent prosecution in matters related to electrical and computer engineering. She is experienced with a diverse array of technologies, including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and cloud computing, among others. Before pursuing a career in law, she gained technical expertise as a research assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s AEON Lab. Chong earned master’s and bachelor’s degrees in computer engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Sae Young (Jennifer) Han, Ph.D., supports patent prosecution in the fields of chemical engineering, physical chemistry, and materials science. Han earned her Ph.D. in chemistry from Columbia University, where she also completed a Master of Philosophy and a Master of Arts in chemistry. She holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Georgetown University.
Sydney Leonardi provides patent prosecution support for technologies related to computer science and mathematics. Leonardi’s technical background includes participating in IBM’s Accelerate Program, where she cultivated a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms as well as front-end and back-end development fundamentals. Leonardi earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science at Vanderbilt University.
Samuel Orke supports patent prosecution for technologies related to chemical engineering and chemistry. A registered patent agent, Orke has experience with chemical compositions, therapeutics, biomaterials, and biofuels, among other technology areas. Prior to beginning his career in law, Orke worked as a research and development engineer. Orke holds a bachelor's degree in chemical and biological engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
