Fish & Richardson Names Julie DuBois Chief Financial Officer

Fish & Richardson has named Julie DuBois as its new chief financial officer. DuBois will oversee the firm's financial operations and strategy across its 14 offices.

DuBois has over 30 years of financial management experience in professional services, including RBC Wealth Management, where she held positions in finance as well as strategy for the U.S. Wealth Management business, and with PwC. Prior to joining Fish, she was the CFO at Fredrikson & Byron, a law firm with 350 attorneys and offices in the Midwest, Mexico, and China. While at Fredrickson, DuBois most recently led the successful implementation of a new financial system for the firm.

DuBois will succeed Dan Lasman, who served as Fish's CFO for nine years and was integral to guiding the firm's fiscal health throughout his tenure. Lasman plans to retire in December 2022 after a more than 40-year career in finance.

"Julie brings exceptional experience and leadership to the table, having served in financial leadership roles across professional services organizations," said John C. Adkisson, president and chief executive officer of Fish. "Although choosing Dan's successor was an intimidating task, we're fortunate to have found an accomplished leader in Julie and we are thrilled to welcome her to Fish."

"Fish & Richardson is a firm that is rooted in history and yet adaptable to the times. Its reputation as a leader in intellectual property is matched only by its commitment to delivering exceptional service and value to its clients," said DuBois. "I am thrilled to join the firm and look forward to contributing to Fish's success."
