Fish & Richardson Recognized by Leadership Council for Legal Diversity as 2024 Top Performer and Compass Award Winner

Fish & Richardson has been named a Top Performer and Compass Award winner by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), recognitions that identify law firms and corporations that demonstrate a strong commitment to building more diverse organizations and a more inclusive legal profession.

2024 marks the 13th year that Fish has participated in the LCLD Fellows Program, which is designed to produce a generation of attorneys with strong leadership skills who are committed to fostering diversity within their individual institutions and the profession at large. In January, Principal April Park was named a 2024 LCLD Fellow.

Fish is also active in LCLD's Pathfinder program, with Associates Meghana Gupta, Ph.D., and Qiuyi (Autumn) Wu participating this year. Pathfinder is a seven-month program that trains early career attorneys in critical career development strategies such as foundational leadership and relationship-building.

“LCLD’s programs have played an integral role in our ongoing efforts to equip and empower diverse attorneys at Fish,” said Principal Ahmed J. Davis, national chair of the firm's Diversity & Inclusion Initiative. “We are proud to once again be named a Top Performer and Compass Award winner, marking our longstanding partnership with LCLD and signaling our continued dedication to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within the firm and in the legal profession.”

The Top Performer Award recognizes organizations with the highest level of engagement in LCLD programs and activities. The Compass Award recognizes individuals and organizations that engage directly with LCLD, nominate both a Fellow and a Pathfinder, and participate in at least one pipeline program (1L Scholars or Mentoring) within a calendar year.
