Managing IP Recognizes Fish & Richardson With Europe Impact Case of the Year Award

Fish & Richardson has been acknowledged in Managing IP’s 2025 EMEA Awards with the Europe Impact Case of the Year award. The firm was recognized for its representation in two matters: a trademark dispute that clarified the rules for converting EU trademark applications to national ones, and an appeal before the Boards of Appeal of the European Patent Office that set a precedent for the examination of medical use claims before the EPO. 

The EMEA Awards recognize the remarkable intellectual property achievements and developments of the last year in more than 50 jurisdictions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Managing IP notes that “awards will be presented to in-house teams, firms, individuals, and corporations behind the most innovative and challenging IP work of the past year, as well as those driving the international market.”  

This year’s honorees were recognized at a private ceremony in London on April 10.
