Fish Hosts MassChallenge Competition
Over the course of six-and-a-half days, nearly 700 entrepreneurs and 100 senior entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors, and senior attorneys-including Fish attorneys, David Feigenbaum, Rex Huang, Steve Katz, and Timothy French-connected through the mission of Mass Challenge: catalyze a startup renaissance.
This seven month competition results in $1 million of prize money being awarded to almost 20 entrepreneurs. The challenge is grueling, but is full of the resources, via seminars and events, needed to launch a “high-growth, high-impact business immediately.” Several local companies and experts participate to act as judges to the various stages of the competition and mentors to the applicants.
As a sponsor of MassChallenge, Fish participated in judging several qualified business proposals and innovative ideas which will ultimately lead to awarding funds to assist the entrepreneurs’ startup companies. This year Fish had the opportunity to host a series of programs that were aimed at providing high-impact networking opportunities, information-packed resource seminars, and one-on-one mentorships.
