Fish & Richardson Attorney Indranil "Indy" Mukerji Named 2011 "Minority 40 Under 40" Honoree by National Law Journal
Washington, D.C., November 1, 2011 - Indranil "Indy" Mukerji, a 37-year-old principal at Fish & Richardson, has been selected as a 2011 "Minority 40 Under 40" honoree by the National Law Journal. The award recognizes 40 minority lawyers across the United States "who have wielded national influence in their practice areas and beyond during the past five years."
At Fish, Mr. Mukerji focuses on litigating patent cases in federal courts around the country in a wide variety of technologies, including computer software and hardware. Mr. Mukerji's representation of multiple defendants in high-profile patent cases has set a precedent for how multi-defendant cases are litigated in federal courts. Mr. Mukerji also counsels clients and manages patent and intellectual property portfolios for clients ranging in size from start-ups to global corporations.

Mr. Mukerji received his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1999, and both his M.E. (1996) and B.S. (1995) in biological engineering from Cornell University.
