Principal Annie King Named a 2024 “Up & Coming Lawyer” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly

Fish & Richardson is proud to announce that Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly has honored Principal Annie King as an “Up & Coming Lawyer” in its 2024 Excellence in the Law section. 

In her patent prosecution practice, King manages large-scale portfolios for wide-ranging clients in the life sciences sector, including industry leaders and blockbuster-drug companies. With deep technical knowledge in chemistry, pharmaceutical formulations, polymers, and industrial chemical processes, King is sought out by both small and large pharmaceutical companies to develop strong patents for existing and future drug products. In addition to her legal practice, King is active in Fish’s EMPOWER women’s initiative, mentors a group of associates and junior technology specialists, and serves as a mentor in the firm’s Allyship affinity group. Her pro bono work includes providing patent preparation and prosecution for student participants in the Massachusetts High School Science & Engineering Fair. 

Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s annual Excellence in the Law section “recognizes a wide range of accomplishments in the legal community,” with the “Up & Coming Lawyers” award honoring attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their first 10 years of practice. Award recipients will be celebrated at a reception in Boston on March 19, 2024.
