A Statement From President and CEO John Adkisson Against Anti-Asian Violence and Hate

Fish & Richardson condemns all acts of violence and hate against the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community, including the tragic shooting that claimed the lives of eight people in Atlanta on March 16 and the individualized attacks reported more recently in New York and the Bay Area.

We are grieving for the victims of these senseless acts of hate and for the community. For many years, Fish has been actively working to be a firm that upholds inclusivity, recognizes the value of diversity, and does not tolerate racism. The alarming incidents of violence and hate against the AAPI community that have recently been brought to the forefront of public attention and that have only increased in number during the COVID-19 pandemic underscores the importance of our commitment to eliminating bias and reminds us that we must be ever-vigilant in our efforts to foster an inclusive workplace. We stand with our AAPI colleagues and the entire AAPI community.
