Overview

Brendan McLaughlin litigates complex intellectual property cases spanning a variety of technical fields. He brings a unique perspective from his experience serving the Honorable Rodney Gilstrap as a judicial law clerk in the District Court with the busiest patent docket in the nation.

Brendan has represented clients in U.S. District Courts, the International Trade Commission, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. His experience also encompasses working on all aspects of inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. As a judicial law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, he gained valuable behind-the-scenes experience that included working on multiple patent trials, both jury and bench.

In his pro bono practice, Brendan has advocated for veterans before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
