Overview

Litigator Grayson Sundermeir helps inventors and innovative companies, particularly in the medical device industry, to protect and assert their intellectual property rights.   

A problem-solver who enjoys tackling complex legal challenges, Grayson has helped clients resolve disputes across a broad range of products and industries, including polymer chemistry, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and automotive/transportation. His trial victories include a clean sweep defense win for an automotive manufacturer and a multimillion-dollar jury verdict on behalf of an individual inventor of electric hand tools a case that took on one of the largest tool manufacturers in the U.S.  

Prior to joining Fish, Grayson worked at a small medical device manufacturer, where he had the opportunity to get involved in every facet of the organization’s operations. This interdisciplinary experience informs his thorough and insightful consideration of his clients' business needs throughout the course of litigation. 

Outside the office, Grayson can often be found cheering on any and all of Philadelphia’s sports teams.   

Pro bono activities

Grayson’s pro bono practice includes veterans’ affairs representation, asylum claims, and post-conviction relief for the wrongfully incarcerated.
