Overview

Megha Bansal concentrates her practice on assisting clients with the protection and enforcement of their copyrights and trademarks across a range of industries, including beauty, fashion, entertainment, and technology.

Megha’s legal experience includes filing trademark applications; drafting and filing responses to substantive refusals issued by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO); filing copyright registrations and drafting copyright infringement cease-and-desist letters; preparing fair use opinion letters; and advising clients on brand protection strategies and the expansion of their intellectual property portfolios.

In her previous role as a trademark attorney for the USPTO, Megha examined federal trademark applications for compliance and researched and drafted Trademark Trial and Appeal Board briefs and office actions. She now utilizes her insider’s perspective gained from this work to advocate for and provide insightful counsel to her clients in their trademark matters.
